Native Instruments Massive - Details The Native Instruments Massive sound is just that – massive! This easy-to-use synthesizer oozes sonic style and character. Its innovative and intuitive controls guarantee breath-taking sounds from the start. The following is a brief summary of Native Instruments Massive's hallmark features. Native Instruments Massive - High-End Audio Engine MASSIVE's exceptional sound is the result of a newly developed and highly advanced audio engine. Three "Wave Scanning" oscillators lie at the heart of Native Instruments Massive, generating a total of 82 individual waveforms and a sonic spectrum ranging from an analog to a digital character. A special "noise oscillator" is also available and the filter design is of an equally high standard: Two excellent multi-mode filters with a total of eleven different filter types lend Native Instruments Massive both that typical analog charm and the unmistakeable digital sound. You can crossfade between a parallel filter routing and a serial filter routing. The two filter types "Daft" and "Scream" need to be mentioned: Daft is based on a special FM routing that, when necessary, can even 'talk'. Scream, in essence, is a 2 pole low-pass filter that has an integrated distortion unit that interacts particularly smoothly with the input level and resonance setting. Native Instruments Massive - A Flexible Route The fact that Native Instruments Massive is based on a flexible signal flow concept results in a far wider sonic range. Route the signal along a different path and the character of the sound changes instantly. The effects in Native Instruments Massive can be inserted at various points in the signal chain. Patch various distortion, reverb, LoFi, delay, tube and other effects into the 2 insert and 2 master slots – and modulate them all at the same time. Native Instruments Massive - Twist and tweak: Macro Controls Native Instruments Massive offers 8 particularly convenient macro controls that are freely assignable and allow for quick and easy manipulation of the sound. The most important parameters for all 420 presets can be controlled directly in this manner – just load the preset and start twisting the sound immediately. The macro controls can also be used via MIDI, sequencer automation or, for example, the KORE hardware controller if used within KORE. The drag'n'drop assignable controls can also manipulate multiple parameters simultaneously, allowing you to create intricate, evolving sounds with a single control element. Native Instruments Massive - Instant Assignment The revolutionary drag'n'drop modulation concept is simple and easy-to-use. Just drag the modulator onto the target parameter and the assignment is complete. Colour-coding gives you an instant overview of all current assignments and dynamic value indicators graphically display the modulation as it occurs. Modulation has never been more intuitive. Native Instruments Massive - Musical Mosaics The Performer, a new type of envelope step sequencer, lets you create modulation sequences in seconds - from fluctuating pads to pumping basslines and kicking drum grooves. Crossfade-able LFOs, morph-capable envelopes and a further, conventional step sequencer called "stepper" with glide function all add even more depth and variety. The mix and blend of these features allows for the quick and intuitive creation of utterly captivating sounds. Native Instruments Massive - The KoreSound Browser and KORE The integrated KoreSound Browser brings a high degree of simplicity and speed to the task of finding and managing presets. Browse and filter according to a number of different sonic criteria and attributes or just enter a keyword or phrase in the free search mode – the results are displayed instantly. All 400 presets have been pre-configured for use with KORE and categorised as KoreSounds.
