Marian ADCON

The ADCON comes as a 1/2 19'' ADAT TM converter with 8 balanced inputs and 8 balanced outputs, easy handling, state-of-the-art technology and an unbeatable price. The ADCON is equipped with two adjustable low-noise Microphone preamplifiers and phantom power on front. The latest onboard A/D and D/A converter work in 24 Bit and the sound optimized design guarantees professional audio values. The high tech inside include Automatic Clock Detection and High Precision Clock Recovery. The ADCON features Dual Clock Support and therefore the output works as slave to an incoming digital clock and/or as clock master by using the internal clock. The ADCON comes very robust and stable, his rock solid case can easily survive passionate live actions and fierce rehearsal room sessions.

Inputs and outputs are individually switchable between -10 dBV and + 4 dBu. The ADCON automatically recognizes whether a balanced or non-balanced cable is used and adjusts the level accordingly.

2 Microphone preamplifiers with phantom power

The analog inputs on the front side are identical to the analog inputs 1 and 2 on the back side. They are especially suitable for microphones. It's possible, to insert 1/4" TRS plugs as well as XLR plugs into the input jacks. The range of the level control decreases accordingly. The level ranges from +5 to +45 dB (XLR) and - 15 to + 25 dB (jacks).

The sample rates are adjustable on the front. In slave mode (AD/DA position) the ADCON synchronizes to the sampling rate of the existing ADAT signal and works as clock slave.
